Description
Energy system optimization model (ESO) can help comprehensively examine energy systems and guide their strategic developments and policy making. The integration of CGE with optimization models represents an innovation for incorporating specific socio-economic sectors within an energy system framework. ESO can be used for concretely analyzing the benefits of various policy scenarios to socio-economic systems, and thus generating desired energy management plans that reflect trade-offs among various energy and socio-economic criteria. The model can report results for up to 30 years.
