Sam Harrison is a recent graduate of the University of Toronto in Engineering Science with an Economics minor, where he specialized in energy systems. He has worked as a public servant in Climate Change Programs Development for Ontario’s Ministry of Environment, where his work focussed on fuel supply chains and freight emissions. Prior to that, he worked in electricity market oversight at Ontario’s Independent Electricity System Operator. He has been involved in advocacy work on energy, climate change, and the environment since high school, including participating in the Canadian Youth Delegation to the UN climate negotiations in November 2016 and working for one of Canada’s largest environmental organizations prior to the 2015 election.
